My story

From one laptop and a freelance gig to cybersecurity research.

It started small. One laptop, a handful of freelance web development and digital marketing gigs, and a lot of late nights figuring things out as I went. There was no roadmap, just client problems that needed solving and a growing appetite to solve them well.

That early work eventually led somewhere more structured. In 2020 I joined Reflex IT Solution as a Jr. Project Manager. It was a shift from working project by project to coordinating delivery across a wider range of client work. By 2022 I'd moved into the Project Manager role, taking full ownership of timelines, teams, and client communication.

From there the scope kept widening. Web development pulled me into digital marketing and project management, and deep into e-commerce systems, where design, marketing, and backend logic all have to work as one. Over four years I coordinated teams and timelines across a wide range of client projects.

These days I've turned my attention toward a different kind of system-building. I moved to Australia to pursue a Master of IT, and I'm now completing a Master of IT specialising in Cybersecurity at Melbourne Institute of Higher Education, researching robust and generalisable machine learning for cyber threat detection. It feels like a natural continuation of everything before it: the same instinct for finding weak points in a system and building something sturdier in their place.
